As many of you know, we will be welcoming a new high-end modern Mexican restaurant to the Mt. Vernon Triangle next Spring, which will be led by two internationally-rated chefs who will bring world class experience and outstanding Mexican cuisine to our neighborhood. The restaurant will also have a tequila lounge in the basement where patrons may sample a variety of tequila and mezcal.
The owners are moving quickly to open by Spring of 2020, and have provided me with the attached concept renderings for the dining room and tequila lounge. This will be a great addition to our thriving community!

Meaning ‘The Famous One’, La Famosa is the name of the Puerto Rican canning food company which Parkhurst’s family founded in 1921. It’s famous for Coco López, a key ingredient in the piña colada.
