The liquor license placard for Andy’s Pizza 18th St says:

“A counter-service pizzeria with whole pizzas, slices, salads , and appetizers for dine in, take-out, and delivery with a seating capacity of 30 and Total Occupancy Load of 38.”

&pizza opened here back in December 2017. Updates when we get an exact opening date for Andy’s Pizza.


From the Mayor’s Office:

“Today, Mayor Muriel Bowser issued Mayor’s Order 2021- 148 adopting COVID-19 vaccination requirements for patrons of certain types of establishments in Washington, DC.

Beginning Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 6AM certain establishments will be required to verify that patrons ages 12 and older have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

“Dear PoPville,

I was just diagnosed with COVID-19 and therefore won’t be able to travel to see my family for the week as I had planned. I will most likely be FaceTiming in for Christmas Eve dinner and/or Christmas Day lunch. I live alone and would still like to enjoy the holiday with a nice meal. Does anyone know of any restaurants still accepting Christmas Eve / Christmas Day orders and deliveries? Especially for just one person or in smaller quantities? Thank you!!!”

and another reader asked last night: “just cancelled my holiday travel plans so looks like I will be dining solo in DC. Know of any restaurants doing to-go meals for 1 (pick up 12/24)?? I’ve only been able to find options for 2+ people. Thanks!”
