La Jolie Bleue Bakery & Cafe opens in former Bharati, fast casual Indian, (original Dolcezza) space

1560 Wisconsin Ave, NW

Bharati only opened up in the original Dolcezza space in April 2018 and closed in May of this year.

La Jolie Bleue’s Facebook says:

“In 2009, we (The Slimani Family) started out on the farmers market scene as Bakery LePintemp, participating in several Farmer’s Markets in the DMV area. This was a venture mostly started out of pleasure of baking and sharing our flavors with others. On weekends in Olney, Fairfax, Kensington and Eastern Market after coordinating soccer game drop offs and pick ups, we set up, selling our hand made authentic crafts as a Family. After much positive feed back and exponential growth in sales and demand this soon became a full time rewarding adventure. In the summer of 2019 we decided to go on to the next step, opening up in Georgetown, La Jolie Bleue was born! Tahar (father) Djamila (mother) Dean (son) Lysa (daughter in law) Samy (son) Yanis (son) Nelya (grand daughter)

Our name, as it is described, the beautiful blue, is a direct reference to the Mediterranean Sea, the connecting body of water where flavors has traveled in all directions since antiquity. A proud heritage based on respect of the land and sea. All natural, fresh and honest food prepared with love! We are committed to serving our guests the same food we serve our kids.”

Whoa. Sweet. Anyone take an early taste?

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
