“The Fourth District is working a stabbing in the 3700 Block 10th Street NW that occurred on June 27, 2019 at approximately 6:30PM. The victim was cut by an unknown object once in the chest. “Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Bicycle) offense that occurred on Monday, June 24, 2019, in the 1100 block of 19th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 2:20 pm, the suspect and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation at the listed location. During the altercation, the suspect threatened the victim, struck the victim with a bicycle and made homophobic slurs towards the victim. (more…)

“The Third District is investigating 2 related adw knife incidents early this morning. The incidents took place in the 3300 block of 16th street and 1400 Columbia Rd NW. both victims received minor lacerations.

“On June 22, 2019, at approximately 9:50pm, patrol officers of the Fourth District received a 911 call regarding a shooting in the 600 block of Morton St NW and the 3400 block of Georgia Avenue NW. Upon officers’ arrival, one adult male was located in an unconscious state on Morton St NW with multiple gunshot wounds. (more…)

“5th Districts units were patrolling around the 100 block of Franklin Street NE when officers heard multiple gun shots [4:30am]. Officers then canvassed the area, shortly after hearing the gun shots MPD received a 911 call for a subject who reported he had several gunshot wounds. The victim further reported that three subjects attempted to rob him at gun point while wearing ski masks. The 5th District Detectives Office is currently investigating this case.”
