From MPD:

“The Fifth District has received information, through an anonymous third party, that an adult female was walking near the intersection of New York and Florida Avenues, NE, on Saturday July 13, 2019, around 11:30 AM, when she was suddenly pushed into the street by an unidentified male. Thankfully, no cars were coming and the female only sustained minor abrasions as a result of falling down.

The female complainant did not contact police, and proceeded home.

Upon receiving this information, members of the Fifth District Detective’s Unit were able to make contact with the female complainant, who did not wish to go forward with making a report.

The Fifth District is providing this information to the community for situational awareness, and encourages anyone who may have information about the male suspect or the incident to contact police. The Fifth District will continue to look into this event, and attempt to identify the man before he has the opportunity to harm anyone else.

The look-out is for an adult black male, dark complexion, last seen wearing a white t-shirt and khaki pants.”
