“The Third District is currently investigating a shooting in the 2800 block of 14th Street NW. An adult male has been transported to an area hospital with a non life threatening gunshot wound to the arm.
Motorists and pedestrians can expect road closures in the area as we investigate.
Anyone with information is asked to call 202-727-9099.”

“The Fifth District is investigating an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon that occurred on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at approximately 8:00 PM in the 100 block of Florida Avenue, NE.
The victim reported that as they were standing in the block, a vehicle approached and one of the occupants of the vehicle fired a paintball gun at the victim. The victim was struck by the paint balls and was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries as a result of the assault. (more…)

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch announced an arrest has been made in reference to a homicide that occurred on Sunday, June 30, 2019, in the 1400 block of W Street, Northwest.
At approximately 4:17 pm, members of the Third District responded to the south alley, of the listed location, for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an unconscious adult male victim, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. (more…)

“The Fourth District is working a stabbing in the 3700 Block 10th Street NW that occurred on June 27, 2019 at approximately 6:30PM. The victim was cut by an unknown object once in the chest. The victim is being treated at a hospital for his injuries. At this time the case is under investigation by the Fourth District Detectives Office. Any information please contact 2027279099″

“Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Second District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Bicycle) offense that occurred on Monday, June 24, 2019, in the 1100 block of 19th Street, Northwest.
At approximately 2:20 pm, the suspect and the victim were involved in a verbal altercation at the listed location. During the altercation, the suspect threatened the victim, struck the victim with a bicycle and made homophobic slurs towards the victim. (more…)
