“On January 15, 2020, members of the Fourth District executed a search warrant in the 300 block of Delafield Place, NW. As a result of the warrant, the officers made nine arrests, recovered five semi-automatic firearms, seized narcotics, and US currency.

“The Third District is currently investigating a stabbing in the 1900 block of 9th Street NW. An adult male has been transported to an area hospital with a severe laceration to the neck area. Officers and detectives are continuing to investigate this incident.

Veronica writes: “any reports of gunshots being fired on the 600 block of T street NW in Shaw around 3 am this morning?”
Spencer writes: “Woke up to the sound of gun shots at 3 a.m. outside of Kiss Night Lounge, a verbal altercation then took place. Police seemed to look around after I called 911.”

Bill reports below: “Behold my car (that had wheel lock on it) first thing this morning. Here in Brookland. The police recommended that I get more surveillance cameras and said that they don’t have enough staff to adequately increase patrolling in our neighborhood. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP!
It’s coincidentally my birthday so happy birthday to me.”
