Yesterday we learned that the Matchbox in Cathedral Commons had closed. Props the Yellow Liner who guessed correctly: “My guess would be Makers Union, since that’s been expanding locally, including a location that was going to be a Matchbox at the Wharf. I could see a gastropub doing pretty well in that location, though I would much prefer something that’s less corporate, less chain-like, and more committed to quality.”
