Thanks to G. for passing on the Juicy Brewing news: “Can confirm they’re great.”

Juicy Brewing announced:

“We are taking what you have come to love at our Herndon taproom and elevating it to a new height in the heart of Washington DC – the 14th Street hospitality corridor.

We partnered with one of the most advanced and forward thinking art groups in Washington DC to open a new multi beverage entertainment venue within grounds of the Studio Theatre.

Picture a stylish European bar and patio on the corner of 14th and P Streets (125 ppl inside and 65 ppl outside) with another cool separate space for private events. Lush greenery, sophisticated setting, modern art and tons of good vibe.

Menu will initially include amazing beer, wine, bourbon and in due course – cocktails. Top specialty coffee planned to launch while we finalize a partner to run such program.

Now you don’t have to choose wine or beer or cocktails venue with your friends. You will be able to enjoy it all at this new trend setting spot!

Exciting crowd funding campaign for this standalone project to be announced shortly. There is also an equity opportunity for the right partner. Reach out before its on the market [email protected]

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!

The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!

What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
