“Dear PoPville,

Just went into the 7/11 at Georgia and Taylor NW and it felt like Déjà vu – stuff missing from the shelves, no pizza, no 7/11 brand stuff, no hotdogs – felt just like how the 7/11 at 14th and Quincy felt the month before it closed. I asked the cashier if they were closing and he said yes by or before the end of the month.

Stay tuned.

“Dear PoPville,

We have a row house in Adams Morgan, and we’ve been told we have roots in our cast iron sewer line and that it should be relined with a spray or UV cured liner. Looking for advice or a reference from someone who’s had to do this. Thanks!”

Thanks to Terry for sharing a rendering of what could have been but is no longer planned: (more…)
