I’ve showed this mural in various states of completion but this is the final version. Holy cow – it is sick. It seriously stopped me dead in my tracks and I’ve kinda seen it before. Amazing.

Check out the details – that is an actual mirror:

Mad props to artist Joel Bergner:

While the house itself is a little obscured by the bushes, you can tell it’s a pretty sweet spot. Note the old horse fence. I also find it’s unusual to find mini houses or any houses for that matter, set back from the curb like this. I’m a fan.

It may surprise a few folks, since I’m such a huge advocate of Dunkin Donuts coffee, Columbia Heights Coffee, and Coffee spots in general, that I’m also quite fond of an occasional cup of tea. I saw this sign at 1332 9th Street and I’m wondering if anyone has purchased tea here before? It looks legit.

Where are the best hidden spots?

This home is located at 783 Irving Street, NW.

We once spoke about this house because it was odd that the shutters were missing from the left hand side. But other than that it turned out pretty good. What do you think of the home itself? It seems the house has been split into two units – “Now taking reservations on both Unit 1 & 2. Unit 1:$434,500/Unit 2:$449,500”. Do those prices sound reasonable?

Their Web site says:
