This classic from Adams Morgan is one of the best because you can see the actually knocker part also has a face on it.

While last week I was a bit obsessed with transoms, this week I fixated a bit on door knockers. The one above was one of the more unusual (found in Georgetown).

It’s been a while since I’ve found an unusual knocker. This one is pretty solid.

I’m not sure if you can tell from the photo but this knocker is also huge.
