Yesterday (Sunday, July 2nd), we had a young man come to our door. He was soliciting donations for the DC Futures program and said he was close to his $100 goal. His pitch was slick, but very fast paced and felt like a hustle. He showed a permit, however, I couldn’t get a good look at it before I told him to move on. Is a permit required to go door-to-door?
