“Busta is the cat-embodiment of a big big hug. He is the most affectionate kitty you will ever meet – instantly approaching everyone to ask for pets and respond with his gentle purr. He’s quite a lap cat, but he also loves an actual hug and will put his paws on your chest to lean on you and bump his face against your chin.
Around 9 years old, Busta still loves to get silly at playtime and is shockingly agile when it comes to chasing bouncy balls and wand toys. He loves to catch the toy and give it some serious kicks! When he’s not cuddling, he spends the other 10% of his time bathing in the sun, looking out the window, and being a perfect gentleman (great litter box manners, not picky or messy with food, and no furniture scratching).
Busta is a happy, healthy kitty, and he is also feline leukemia (FeLV) positive. If you’re unfamiliar, FeLV is much scarier than it sounds. It weakens a kitties’ immune system, so it’s important to take them to the vet if they’re feeling sick, but it doesn’t require any additional regular care or meds. It is transmissible to other cats, so Busta would do best as a solo kitty (which is fine because he loves the attention and snuggles), or with another FeLV positive cat. FeLV is not transmissible to dogs or people, so he’d also be happy to meet your resident pupper too!
He really is a wonderful kitty and his forever family will be incredibly lucky to have this guy share their love. If you’re ready for a 24/7 snuggle buddy, or have any questions, please reach out! [email protected]”
