“A whiskey bar launches within DCity Smokehouse, located on Marion Barry Ave SE. This establishment is part of a local chain celebrated for its award-winning selection of smoked meats, which includes brisket, ribs, pork belly, and their renowned wings. The new whiskey bar will feature a curated selection of bourbons, whiskeys, and ryes, carefully chosen to complement the flavors of their smoked meats.

Owner Melvin Hines expressed enthusiasm for the new addition to the brand, stating, “We are very excited to showcase our curated list of small-batched whiskeys, with suggested food pairings from our team. Our goal is to bring an elevated experience to your favorite neighborhood spot.”
