Thanks to all who passed on the sad news from Sticky Fingers:
“For more than 25 years, Sticky Fingers has been so much more than a bakery.
It’s been birthday cakes, first dates, coffee with friends, celebrations big and small, and a gathering place for a community we love dearly. Sticky Fingers will be closing its doors on Sunday, August 2.
This wasn’t an easy decision. But after so many wonderful years, it feels like the right time to close this chapter-and make room for a new batch of ideas, energy, and memories to rise. Of course, we’ll be broadcasting that journey here, so don’t go anywhere. We couldn’t be happier about what is coming out of the oven next….
Before we say goodbye, we’d love to enjoy a treat with you, one last time. Get your final orders in now! While they last.
From the bottom of our hearts—
Thank you for every visit.
Thank you for every celebration.
Thank you for every sweet memory.”

“Okay, deep breath. Sticky Fingers Sweets & Eats is closing. Our last day is Sunday, August 2. (I’ve rewritten this sentence about ten times trying to make it hurt less. It doesn’t.)
Here’s where it all started: 2002, one of the first fully vegan bakeries in the entire country. People thought we were nuts. “Vegan cupcakes? That taste good?” Yeah. Yeah they do. We spent the next two decades proving it, one skeptical bite at a time.
Twenty four years, two Cupcake Wars trophies, and enough birthday cakes to fill a bakery case the size of Texas. This is where I wanted this whole goodbye to start, because it’s where the whole thing started too.
11 days left. Come get your favorite one more time. Bring a friend who’s never tried us, we’ll turn them too. Follow along over the coming weeks as we revisit some of our favorite moments, treats, and share more about the amazing new (vegan!) business taking over the space.”
STAY TUNED.
