Magnificent fast casual news for Columbia Heights. Z Burger is coming back to Columbia Heights!! But that’s not all, they will share the old Ledo pizza space with the absolutely awesome Maman Joon. When you enter Z Burger will be to the right and Mama Joon to the left (sorta like a mini food hall or if anyone remembers the KFC/Taco Bell mashups.)
Stay tuned for an opening date which should be in around 6 weeks or so.
Ed. Note: Z Burger had a Columbia Heights location in the Tivoli which closed back in 2019. And of course there used to be a Five Guys in what became part of the Wawa (RIP). Maman Joon also has a location in Tenleytown, which I’ve said it before and I’ll say again, is absolutely delicious.
Ledo Pizza opened here in November 2019 and closed here in October 2023. This space was previously home to Bar Roubaix back in December 2017. Before Bar Roubaix this space was home to Acre 121 and CommonWealth gastro pub before them.
