Any intel on why Kenny’s bbq on the Hill has suddenly closed. One day a week or so ago they just stopped opening. Very abrupt. Thanks!”
Oh wow I hadn’t heard this but Kenny’s website and phone are no longer active and google has them listed as permanently closed too:
We judged Kenny’s back in 2009 here.
In late 2017 they changed names to Uncle Kenny’s Smokehouse and the owner wrote on yelp:
“Newly renovated and under new management, Uncle Kenny’s Smokehouse is now the Capitol Hill spot for people looking to relax with quality BBQ. You and your friends won’t be able to find a better place to hang out and catch up. We embrace the uniting capabilities of great food, which is why we’ll cater your organization or company events with the same dishes you love getting when you dine in.”
