The brunch menu features Chef Malkhaz Maisashvili’s creative take on omelets and egg dishes, including a unique hybrid between khachapuri and shakshuka called the Ajaruli Ketse Bostneuli made with roasted eggplant, sweet peppers, squash, tomato sulguni and an egg baked in khachapuri dough. The Khacho Cakes are a gluten-free ricotta pancake made in a style popular in Eastern Europe, with apricot preserves  fresh apple and maple syrup. Various khachapuri, breads fresh from the toné oven,  gluten-free berry muffins and sandwiches round out the menu. Cocktails such as the Pom Pom, a pomegranate juice, pomegranate wine and sparkling wine concoction; the Bloody Mariami made with vodka, red tkemali (a red Georgian plum sauce), red ajika (a spicy house-made seasoning), lemon, cilantro syrup and svanuri salt showcase the creativity of the Supra bar team in reinventing traditional brunch cocktails with Georgian ingredients.

The lunch menu at Supra features sandwiches made with a fluffier, softer version of the restaurant’s signature khachapuri dough, which chef lightens with the addition of milk. In addition to Supra’s Georgian vegetable spreads, soups, and vegetarian-friendly appetizers, the sandwiches include fillings like grilled chicken, grilled vegetables, beef, and ‘lyulya’ or ground lamb kebab. These are served with a choice of green salad or french fries seasoned with svanuri salt, a garlicky and aromatic Georgian seasoning. The khachapuris from the dinner menu are also available, as well as a unique dish called Chicken Ketse, with stewed mushrooms, potatoes and a sulguni white wine sauce.

Happy hour, which is available Monday – Friday from 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. presents an opportunity to try some of Supra’s all-Georgian wines by the glass at the price of $7 to $8 per glass. The “Chacha pickleback” (a Georgian brandy) for $7 for the more adventurous drinker and a Georgian sangria made with wine, beet juice, chacha and orange for $8 is available for those looking for a cocktail. The food specials include special pricing on bites like the pickle assorti, stuffed mushrooms, cheeses, mussels, pork and beef sausages, and three different variations of the khachapuri.”

We’re about a month out from summer. That means you’ve still got time for spring cleaning!

Lexi Grant, an operations manager at Well-Paid Maids, shared her go-to spring cleaning tips with WTOP News. Step one? Declutter. Get rid of items you don’t use, find space for items that need a home and organize those areas.

Then, it’s time to dust. Lexi starts with high-touch surface areas (think: refrigerator, dishwasher, counters, microwave). One area she sees often neglected is the bedroom — and it makes sense. Heavy furniture is difficult to move around, but it’s important to really get in there so dust doesn’t affect your sleep.
