“People’s Book is excited to announce our first-ever Local Author Bazaar!
On Saturday, June 8, from 10 am – 2 pm, just outside our storefront (7014-A Westmoreland Ave, Takoma Park MD), we will host 18 excellent authors from our community. Come rain or shine, these writers, whose work ranges from picture books and poetry to novels and nonfiction, will table to the public, discussing, selling, sharing, and signing their books for all.
Takoma Park is a city of artists, and events showcasing our amazing homegrown talent have been in high demand since we opened. We are thrilled to feature these eighteen authors, selected from an excellent pool of dozens. A full list of tabling authors can be found here.”
