“Dear PoPville,
Any idea what these are? The camels at City Center and the other in the park across from Farmers and Distillers.”

Hannah writes:
“The Fancy Animal Carnival is in town! I came across several pieces of this outdoor art exhibit by Taiwanese contemporary artist Hung Yi. It looks like it just came here from NYC.”
From a press release:
“The unveiling of the Fancy Animal Carnival, which is bringing five larger-than-life animal sculptures by renowned Taiwanese artist Hung Yi installed at CityCenterDC and in the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID). Through a partnership with the National Park Service, the Government of the District of Columbia and Gould/Oxford Properties, the sculptures will be on display for six months at CityCenterDC, Chinatown Park and Herald Square.
