Hoping to connect with the woman I briefly chatted with at Jazz in the Garden’s last Friday. I asked if you minded if I posted up with my blanket between you and one of the sculptures (on the Constitution side of the sculpture garden, across from the Archives), outside the inner ring.
Mid-length brown hair, wearing a stylish white dress, you were very gracious in letting me share the shady spot. I was wearing a blue plaid shirt and blue jeans, and pulled out a book to read, but I wished I had struck up a conversation instead. Both of our friend groups arrived shortly afterwards, and it seemed the moment had passed. But I figured it was worth a shot to hope you’re a popville reader and we can meet for coffee.”
