lawlz. welcome to Logan Circle, indeed..may as well bump that up to $3,000 for that fireplace. Such luxury.

$2800? For a dingy apartment with floors badly in need of refinishing, a dirty fireplace, laminate counters every where and appliances that look like they are from the 90s?! What?! Oh, and what looks like baseboard heating.

Love the neighborhood (might be biased cause I live nearby) and it’s a cute place, but the rent seems high for what it is.

Every month when I pay rent, I regret how much I am overpaying for my 1 bed/ 1.5 bath at $2400. $2800, my goodness!

I’ve always found these 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath places to be puzzling–long term more expensive to keep because there’s more plumbing to go wrong and another room that’s expensive to renovate. It’s really a blah place with a small narrow kitchen (too bad the half bath wasn’t junked in favor of a better kitchen). You can find very nice 1 bedrooms much closer to $2k in Logan.

I have been looking for an apartment about this size and think this is overpriced by at least several hundred dollars. I’ve seen quite a few apartments, even in Logan, that are nicer for around $2,300.
