MPD Seeks Your Assistance in IDing this Person of Interest

This is chilling. MPD writes:

The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest regarding the investigation of an Attempted First Degree Sexual Assault which occurred on Monday, January 16, 2012 at approximately 2:43 am in the 3200 block of 16th Street, NW.

The subject is described as an Hispanic male in his late 20s to early 30s, approx. 5’4″ to 5’6″ tall, medium build, with black hair and brown eyes and a clean shaven appearance. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans.
