“Danielle’s Desserts closing Downtown Friday. It was such a amazingly good bakery”

1130 Connecticut Ave, NW

Thanks to Arniesa for passing on the sad news from Danielle’s:

“I am writing to let you know that I have made the decision to close both Danielle’s Desserts shops.

This was not an easy decision for me. However, I have determined that it is necessary to close the shops to address some critical health issues and to spend quality time with family members and friends that are so important to me.

After all, it won’t be long before my beautiful grandsons decide the last thing they want to do is spend time with their Nana!

Our last day of business at the DC shop will be this Friday, July 12, and at the Tysons Galleria shop, Friday, August 16. Until then, we will do all that we can to provide you with the same excellent service and quality products that we always have. If you have a Danielle’s Desserts gift card or reward points that you’d like to redeem, be sure to use them at either shop before the respective closing dates.

As I move on to the next chapter of my life, I want to take a moment to let you know that it has been an honor and a pleasure to share my desserts with you and to serve you over these last 9 1/2 years. I thank you for your support and hope to “bump into” many of you from time to time as our journeys intersect.

Blessings, Peace, and Love,

Danielle Poux”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
