Man Shot in the Head at 13th and I St, NW just after 1am

From MPD:

“On today’s date at around 1:07AM, First District officers responded to the 1300 block of I Street, NW, in reference to a reported shooting. Upon their arrival, the officers discovered a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment by DCFD.

The suspect who fled in an unknown direction was described as a black male with his hair in dreadlocks.

This case is currently being investigated by the First District Investigative Unit.”
