DC Snowballs For a Cause Holiday Happy Hour- Friday

From an email:

“Over the past 6 years, we have been bringing snowball related fun to thousands of DC residents (and stranded visitors) in the form of the DC Snowball Fight Association. While it is always fun to throw a fluffy snowball at an unassuming stranger, there are those for which the snow can be a dangerous burden and hazard – which is why we have joined forces with the DC mayor’s office this year on a new initiative.

Join us at Ping Pong Dim Sum in Chinatown this Friday evening (December 18) to learn how YOU can help seniors and people with disabilities to shovel out their snow this winter, as you head to or from the next snowball fight!

What: DC Snowballs For a Cause Holiday Happy Hour!
When: Friday, December 18, 2015. 5:307:30 pm

Where: Ping Pong Chinatown, 900 7th St NW, Washington, District of Columbia 20001

Facebook event for RSVP:  https://www.facebook.com/events/1661067360807721/

Enjoy Complimentary Appetizers and Happy Hour Specials, courtesy of Ping Pong North America, while signing up for the DC Resident Snow Team — a project of Serve DC – The Mayor’s Office on Volunteerism! Serve DC is currently HALF WAY to meeting its target of recruiting 2,500 volunteers for the Snow Team – and we, DC’s snowballers, CAN HELP THEM TO GET THERE!

PLUS, meet #DCSFA‘s founders to share ideas and strategies for making this season’s snowball fights even more epic than previous years!

See you at the event – and at one of our snowball fights!

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
