“DC Loud, in collaboration with DC Central Kitchen, present “In Good Spirits: From the Kitchen to the Community,” a fundraiser featuring live music and a silent auction at DC’s brand new distillery One Eight Distilling on August 13, 2015 from 6pm-9pm.

DC Loud is honored to partner with DC Central Kitchen volunteers, students, and staff and commit to a $10,000 fundraising goal to fully finance a student’s enrollment in the Culinary Job Training Program.

In support of DC Loud’s belief that music is an essential ingredient in the recipe for a unified city, local R&B artist Lamont Bagfeel & Hippie Control, and folk group, Letitia VanSant & the Bonafides will perform in the boiler room and tasting halls of one of DC’s first distilleries. With their locally sourced ingredients and commitment to the traditions and history of DC, One Eight Distilling provides the perfect stage for a creative collaboration between local musicians and these thriving nonprofits.

Food and beverages will be provided by One Eight Distilling and Fresh Start Catering.
