“This Saturday, March 28th at 8:30 p.m., The National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. will turn off their lights during Earth Hour to signal the need to protect our planet with strong climate action. Joined by thousands of landmarks and corporations, and millions of people from more than 172 countries, Earth Hour is a global celebration, using our collective voice to change the course of climate change.
In addition to the lights-out visual display at the National Cathedral, the people of D.C. are also invited to turn off their lights to participate in the world’s largest grassroots environmental movement.”
