New Pub, Lost and Found, Opened by the Convention Center on Friday Night!

1240 9th Street, NW (just south of N Street)

Good news, after a small delay, Lost and Found was able to open Friday night! You can see some more photos of the inside here. Anyone stop by over the weekend?

  • I hope it’s good, I’ll have to check it out

  • I stopped by here with a few friends on a random walk, on our way to metro center. Super-friendly people and beautiful inside (not to mention nice beer selection)! If I still lived in the neighborhood, would definitely visit a lot.

  • I love the records in the window!

  • Does anyone know when they are open? Business Hours I mean.

  • Is it true that you can enter through both the 9th Street and Blagden Alley entrances?

  • Walked by this a few weeks ago and didn’t even realize its a bar. Liked the records in the front window, may have to give it a try since I occasionally hang out in the china town area.

  • Any patrons of the last DC bar called Lost & Found, a gay bar near the present day baseball stadium? It was very prominent in the early and mid-1980s.

  • Stopped by Friday night and yes, entrances on both 9th & the alley. Super friendly and great beer selection! Strange yelp reviews, but I think a few people were confused. Brian & Team, welcome to the neighborhood, looking forward to stopping in often!

  • Stopped in yesterday with a group of friends. Great place — relaxed vibe, excellent beer list, friendly staff, and football on the tube. It’s also HUGE, so I’m thinking that even when there are a ton of people inside, it won’t feel too crowded. Given that I only live a few blocks away, I’ll be spending a lot of time here. It’s exactly what the neighborhood needed.

  • Looks nice. This isn’t my neighborhood anymore, but looks like a good addition.

  • The guy that owned the Reef is involved in this – but I’m not sure if it’s as an owner or just as a bartender. Either way, I’ve always had a good experience when he’s behind the bar! I’ll make it a priority to stop there soon.
