Thanks to a reader for sending a photo of the new Newton’s Noodles signage that has gone up at 1129 20th St, NW between L and M Streets. Back in October we learned that Newton’s Noodles plans on opening around May 1st. Newton’s Noodles comes from the same folks behind Newton’s Table in Bethesda.

this is great! welcome back!
Hope you get her back soon
Unfortunately, many of the older residents would prefer empty storefronts over anything...
I had a Yorkie and it pains me to recall thoughts of when my see you next Tuesday gf left...
I hope your prayers are answered.
It’s official… Noodle shops are the new FroYo in DC…
Please, before you jump on the bandwagon, slow down first and consider doing something more rare/valuable like Korean BBQ, ramen shop, cookie shop, or a really nice bakery instead. Thanks guys.
True. It’s a trend thing. Although DC is way behind the curve on the noodles trend. Adams Morgan has suddenly swelled with two ramen and one pho restaurant in the past year. I just wish DC could focus on variety (made well and no price gouging) vs. riding these insipid trends. Although it’s very analogous to how people think around here. Do everything that everyone else is doing. No individuality or sense of uniqueness. Not a criticism just a pretty apt observation.
