The Bike Rack is offering free coffee for bicycle commuters Wednesday morning, October 17th from 7:30 to 9:00. We will be at the corner of 14th and Q, NW handing out free cups of Perregrine espresso as you make your way into work or wherever you may be headed. Look for our banner, stop by and have a cup of joe on us!

Any reason the Bike Rack can’t hand out the coffee in their stores so as not cause potential traffic hazards or impediments?

Wait, why Q and not R? Seems like a lot more people are coming IN to downtown on R in the morning vs. going OUT on Q.
They did this last month and it didn’t seem to be blocking traffic. 14th and R is a disaster with the construction, but 14th and Q is a nice wide corner with plenty of space. There were no problems with traffic being blocked when I stopped by.
Went today and it was great. No traffic problems and everyone that stopped by got coffee. Yum.
