  • Umm… yuck. Kind of reminds me of West Virginia. I mean, it’s not a hideously ugly house in and of itself but the style is so wrong for DC, even over there by the park.

    Have you seen those Frank Llloyd Wright-looking newish homes on (I think) Davenport near Broad Branch, right on the west edge of Rock Creek Park? It’s a really steep hill and there are a few houses that I think have been built in the last ten years or so. While I am hit or miss on modern architecture, I think these look pretty amazing – because the landscape is steep and rocky the construction had to be pretty creative. Really really cool.
