“DC is facing a jobs crisis.
Rushing the legalization of autonomous vehicles is irresponsible given the anticipated AI-related job displacement and disruptions that put countless workers at risk.
DC must be a leader in welcoming new technology while supporting workers and prioritizing safety.
Let’s get this right and not rush Waymo legislation this year.”

Not a great picture because I took it through my windshield. Thursday afternoon 4 o’ clock. Guy is sitting in car looking at his cell phone with blinkers on. Traffic backed up 3 blocks. This must be a small taste of living in SF.”

The photos don’t do it justice. They were trying to enter a gated garage at city center. Backed traffic up trying to enter then tried to get the car to turn around just before the gate to get out. It was trying to turn around where there is no turnaround! Everyone had to back up. Lots of confusion. (more…)
