Just spotted this self driving car downtown. It’s by the company Waymo which is already operating in Arizona and California. I’m thinking they are just testing it right now though because
there was a person in the driver’s seat and Waymo’s website doesn’t claim to be in DC. Both exciting and scary – I’m expecting a significant decrease in rideshare drivers without a significant decrease in costs to the rider.”
