“BREAKING (VERY IMPORTANT) NEWS: per staff at Palette 22 in NoMa, apparently the owners took a buy out and new owners are planning to open a club in this location (the first of its kind in NoMa) 👀👀👀”

“Palette 22 is going out of businsss on Sunday in Union Market. WTH

Yeah my friend booked a reservation there for her birthday and they canceled it. She called them to see what happened and they told her that they’re going out of business on Sunday. So we are confused! It’s literally always packed.”

“Elon Musk is slated to be the highest bidder on D.C.’s trendy Line hotel. The recently inducted member of President-elect Donald Trump’s billionaire boys club plans to turn the desirable Northwest digs with 220 rooms into a “private social club” of sorts, according to multiple sources familiar with the deal.”

The District Eagle (Bar) is Landing Again – Likely on U Street!!

I have on a very good source that the Eagle bar is returning on Jan 22nd. My source tells me they will be at 1357 U Street NW.

My guess is it’s different owners than the folks who had the DC Eagle up to 2020 (which was in NE)… looking this up led me down an interesting rabbit hole on the ownership structure and relationship between the Eagle bars in different cities (apparently there is none!)

Anyway, fun news about another gay bar!”
