“Spotted in Petworth, near 8th and Shepherd. Let’s hope it gets to work on our huge rat population. And there’s the rub: people want to poison the nuisance rats, which is understandable. But poisoning rats poisons rat predators like hawks. Fewer predators, more rats. I don’t know the answer, but we’re not going to poison our way out of this.”
