I never noticed how very insane this guy is. Is it a dog or cat? I always thought they were both cats but maybe this guy is really a dog? My mind is exploding. Anyway, I love you Adams Morgan.

hahaha holy crap. For the record, unsurprisingly, I’m going with awesome. Thanks to a reader for sending word of Hungry Human Hippo on Ice.
“4 teams. 400 bouncy balls. 1 epic race to catch them all – on ice.
That’s right, ice. Grab three of your best buds (or, hippo), and start a team!”

Thanks to a reader for sending this listing for 754 Lamont St, NW : “Great development potential in Columbia Heights.” The 3 bed/1 bath is going for $1,000,000. Remarkably it apparently sold for $500,000 in April 2016. Not much more to say except if you need me I’ll be in the bunker…

Well this is awesome – Josh Gibson asks on the Adams Morgan listserv:
“Anyone know the backstory of this rooftop peace sign atop a Biltmore Street home, visible on the latest Google Earth pix?”

The Valero opened up back in 2012 – it was formerly and Express Gas Station. Fortunately Fast Gourmet remains open. Anyone know the plans for Valero? Just fixing the pumps or is there a bigger development planned here?
Anybody know more details here? And not to be too cynical but I wonder how many of these things are gonna get swiped? Or is the some crazy evade mode/defense mechanism?

Justin reports from 11th and L Street, NW Tuesday night:
“The cops pulled this guy over, only to egg him on to blast the music he was playing LOUDER.
He was blasting “Born in the USA” and “Hail to the Chief”.”
Ed. Note: If you need me I’ll be looking at photos of Bei Bei and drinking grain alcohol…

“Dear PoPville,
Have you heard anything about the fireworks that were set off last night at 6:30pm in Kalorama Park?”
I got tons of reports and confirmations @PoPville on twitter last night but nobody was able to provide more info. Think somebody came into a nice personal stash or was this an organized/semi organized thing?
