Thanks to T. for sending: “Saw workers peeling back white window coverings to reveal the sign on my morning commute. I’m almost thinking it’s a leftover from wawa days, but they didn’t have “coming soon” signs when they were open”
Wawa closed here back in June 2022.
Think Wawa could really be coming back or just an old sign?

“I live in that building. I believe that sign is from before the walls went up behind that window and before the outside of the windows were covered up, so an old sign.”

I live off corcoran st nw and 16th st nw, and at least 5 times when I’ve been out walking my dog past 10pm, I’ve seen someone open their high up window of this apartment building and dump popcorn all over the sidewalk.
