RCN internet and cable have been down across many parts of the District since at least midday yesterday. Per my last call with customer service, they don’t have an estimate on when service will be restored. I even asked, “are we talking hours, days, or weeks?”, and she refused to give an estimate. When I asked how many people were affected, she responded, “A LOT.”

I thought your readers might be interested in a new internet provider potentially coming to DC, since many people on here complain about their ISP. I live in Adams Morgan and got a flyer for Starry this week, which is a Boston-based start-up that charges a $50 all-inclusive flat rate. The website says it’s not in my area yet. Anyone else have it yet?
