Update from MPD: “preliminarily MPD received a call for a pedestrian struck at the intersection of N. Capitol and H St. NE at approximately 7:20 am. The victim is an adult male who was transported to a local hospital unconscious but breathing. Major crash was notified.”

“The Zoo Loop Bridge on the Rock Creek Park Multi-Use trail will open at 3PM TODAY. The Smithsonian will open the Zoo Loop Trail at 7AM on Saturday. Hours for the Zoo Loop Trail will be 7-5 and controlled by the National Zoo”
