A reader sent in a pretty upsetting scooter crash the other day and was curious why we rarely see riders wearing helmets. In the same vein of wearing seat belts in cars, shouldn’t we wear helmets to prevent possible injuries when scooting? For those who scoot – do you wear a helmet? For cyclists, do you wear a helmet when riding?
Ed. Note: This question is not intending to place blame on the rider for the crash.
