“Mayor Muriel Bowser was joined by local and federal partners to discuss preparations for the upcoming 75th Anniversary 2024 North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Summit, scheduled to take place July 9-11 in Washington, DC. The community is encouraged to plan ahead if traveling through DC and to sign up for alerts by texting NATODC to 888-777. “Metro is upgrading to vinyl seats on all buses for a cleaner, more comfortable ride. Catch the new seats on select routes now, with all buses set to be upgraded by 2025.”

“Update crash with vehicle overturned 4000 block Ga. Ave NW. 2 adult males in overturned vehicle have been removed and evaluated by EMS. A child in second vehicle also evaluated by EMS. All are declining further medical treatment. #DCsBravest”
