“Yesterday, our fare enforcement initiative led to the arrest of 9 individuals & 100+ citations issued. These arrests included 5 wanted for crimes across the region – including assault and grand larceny. Fare enforcement plays a vital role in maintaining a safe system.

From DDOT:

“The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is advising the public of upcoming changes to traffic operations on the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge (I-66) as part of the ongoing Rehabilitation of the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge Project.

Beginning Monday, May 12, 2025, and continuing through 2027, DDOT will discontinue operation of the movable rush hour (zipper) lane on the bridge. This change is necessary to support construction activities during the multi-year rehabilitation effort.

This was on westbound Massachusetts Avenue NW just short of 6th Street.”

If we give benefit of the doubt, maybe they will claim it says Arlan? Not sure what Arlan would mean but another interpretation could be Aryan. Is there any other way to interpret this?
