“Dear PoPville,
I was waiting at Metro center at like 10:30pm last Thursday night for the Orange Line train and a guy said something to me. He got right up in my face when I didn’t reply so I finally took out one of my earbuds and said “what?!” He said “You have a spider on your back!!” It was a weird vibe and
I don’t really freak out about stuff like that since I am a camper so I just said “ummm thanks” and shook my shirt. He then said “it crawled into your shirt!” I said I was good and hopped on my train that had arrived. I can’t tell if he was just messing with me for fun or if his plan was to feel on my back, or do something similarly creepy… Or, perhaps maybe there really was a spider? Though I found nothing later on after having squished myself against the train seat most thoroughly. Anyway, memorable!”
