Yesterday around 2:30pm a friend was in a hit and run on North Capitol after Michigan and just before the Irving exit going north bound. He was hit by a new white Ranger Rover with Maryland tags. They did not stop.
My friend was driving his new (used) dream truck he has just purchased two days ago. (more…)

DC Fire & EMS reported around 6:30pm last night: “Crash with car into building 1200 block Alabama Ave SE. #DCsBravest on scene with SUV into 3 story apartment building with apparent structural damage. 1 patient inside vehicle not trapped. Building being evacuated.
#DCsBravest believe the luckiest person in DC this evening is the gentleman sitting in this room when an SUV plowed thru the wall. Amazingly, he did not suffer major injuries.” (more…)

Friday afternoon my kids and I were almost run over by a crazy driver in the 2600 block of P st, nw. in Georgetown. We had just parked and were waking to the sidewalk when someone came barreling down the block, crashed into the car parked behind us and then slammed into my car, pushing it into the sidewalk and almost crushing my 8 year old and me and totaling the car.
