Thanks to Vera for sharing this beautiful photo last night: “Some kind of event going on with well dressed folks at the National Cathedral and a projection of “work safe.” Anyone know what this is for?”

“Dear PoPville,
from I St SW, just to the east of 6th st. This is for the Amidon Bowen Elementary School Zone. The crosswalk sign impedes seeing the school zone sign indicating a lower speed limit. Hard to protect the kids walking to school when drivers can’t see the signs.” (more…)

Thanks to The Shinning for sending from 20th off K Street, NW.
Having seen some early reaction, while most agree that the signage is confusing, let me just say that yes, when you take a moment the signs are obviously decipherable but the point is that the 7am on the green sign for 5 of those days that you are in fact not allowed to park there is unnecessarily deceiving at first glance. OK, let’s argue about it anyway :)

Thanks to Brent for sending from Dupont Circle.

Thanks to Terry for sending from Cleveland Park.

Thanks to Mary for sending from “outside embassy of Peru this morning….deep breath, everyone!”

Thanks to Bill for sending from 16th and Harvard St, NW: “This is entrapment by traffic pattern, right?”

Outside the delicious Dupont Market:
