And I can no longer bear the burden alone.

From the Tenleytown listserv:

“100+ 32 oz. Used Plastic Yogurt Containers

Some have lids.
Take one or take all.”

So.

1. That is a lot of yogurt.

2. What can one do with 32 oz. Used Plastic Yogurt Containers?

hahaha thanks to Jen for sending: “this cat tree craigslist post brightened my day”

Super Ridiculous Cat Tower – $75

Our ridiculous human (Ben) bought us this cat tower. Doesn’t he know we’d rather have a soft, unmade bed than a cat condominium? Who does he think we are? We’re not the kind of cats who enjoy clawing at one of 7 scratching posts (the sofa is just fine, thank you). (more…)

Well this is just bonkers.

The Washington Post reported:

“Gray, 75, “basically told the guy to chill out,” and was shoved out the door, said the adviser, Chuck Thies. Thies said Gray was at the club for “Art All Night,” a city wide arts festival.”

The DC Eagle gave News4 the following statement: (more…)

All I have to say is that this is not freaky at all, not one bit. And $54 seems more than reasonable given the vintage aspect. Anyway, thanks to Emily for sending this interesting find from Craigslist:

“Natural Blond Virgin Human Hair – $54

No dyes or bleaches have been used on this hair.

This hair was cut from my head by my mother when I was a teenager, more than 50 years ago. I found it recently when sorting through her things.

Just over 15 inches long.

Payment: Cash only.”
