Thanks to James for sending: “My partner and I live in SW DC, and my sister lives in Ballston. She kindly mailed us a Holiday card on December 16, 2020, and it was JUST returned to her (August 18, 2021) because it was “not deliverable as addressed.” She has mailed things to that address more than once, so why wasn’t it delivered? And where has it been for 8 months??”

“Dear PoPville,
I’ve had a rash of lost greeting cards recently, four in the past two months, both incoming and outgoing (I live in 20012). Some had checks in them, others didn’t. A friend recently also had a check stolen and cashed in someone else’s name.
Anyone else had a similar experience? Delays are frustrating enough, but seems like there may be something else going on.”

“Dear PoPville,
We moved to Capitol Hill last summer, and we have been extremely disappointed with our mail delivery service since moving here. We are desperate to get help on this issue.
We are still waiting for numerous birthday cards for my husband which were supposed to be delivered back in October. One of which was the last card his grandmother sent him before she passed. Read More

“Dear PoPville,
Residents in 20002 are experiencing extreme mail delay. I’ve personally been to the USPS facility in Brentwood twice in the last two weeks and there are many frustrated customers waiting on paychecks, bills, passports, medicine, etc. I went again yesterday and saw this sign posted.”
Thanks to Liz for sending: “Spotted in 16th Street Heights. (Took the photo a couple days ago but it’s still there this morning.)”
