Chupacabra tweets the sad news:

“We are sad to announce the closing of @chupacabraDC next Sat 8/8/20. We have been part of the neighborhood for almost 10 years! Dine-in frozen margarita pitchers are now $15 until we close!“

“The team from Stable, DC’s only authentic Swiss restaurant, will expand their footprint on H Street when they take over the Gallery O on H patio at 1354 H Street NE on August 6th to debut Pier 1354, an outdoor seafood shack operating every Thursday through Saturday from 5-10 PM. Pier 1354 will bring the feel of lazy days spent by the water to the middle of the city with a menu featuring an array of fresh picks from the Chesapeake Bay and beverage offerings including Stable’s signature frozen Schnapsicles and classic warm weather cocktails with a local spin. “To celebrate the new pop-up at The Pug (1234 H St NE), Peregrine Espresso invites friends and neighbors to stop by for free iced and hot coffee between 8am-3pm Thursday, 7/9/20. All retail coffee will be $2 off. ($2 off retail bean offer will extend through Sunday 7/12/20.)

Red Rocks H Street, NE Location appears to have Permanently Closed

Thanks to J. and G. for sending word about Red Rocks H Street location closing: “Per an Employee of Red Rocks, H Street location is already permanently closed.”

The location for H Street on their website has been taken down and the Red Rocks H Street specific website appears to now be a Turkish gambling forum, I’m not sure as my Portuguese is a bit rusty. Red Rocks opened their H Street location in August of 2013.
